| Heartwood Plantations focuses on three key species from the Eucalyptus and Corymbia genus. Each of these species has been selected for their premium timber quality, high demand and rapid growth.
The key species grown are spotted gum (Corymbia maculata and Corymbia citriodora subsp. variegata), yellow stringybark (Eucalyptus muelleriana), and southern mahogany (E. botryoides).
Each of these species are suited to a specific climate range and certain soil types. This enables Heartwood Plantations to cater for most properties where rainfall exceeds 600 mm per annum. |
