| Each plantation produces a range of timber products during a rotation. Initial thinning activities result in lower value products such as firewood, biofuel or chips for paper manufacturing. As tree size and form improves, more valuable products are attainable such as poles, posts and construction timber. The final harvest generally produces larger pruned logs that are suited to the premium markets such as decking, flooring and appearance timber for cabinetry and furniture.
Heartwood Plantations markets and sells its solid timber products (excluding minor products) through Radial Timber Sales. Radial Timber Sales process, market and distribute high quality durable timber products such as flooring, decking, furniture and timber panels.
